Eine Woche im Paradies. Ein neues Zuhause, neue Arbeit, Umgebung,Tagesrhythmus und alles begeleitet von Sonne, Strand, Meer & Regenboegen. Der Tag hat eine angenehme Waerme, die mit einer kleinen kuehlen Brise vom windigen Norden perfekt ist & die gemuetlichen Naechte erstrahlen im hellsten Mondlicht. In Paia sind die Hauser bunt, die Menschen froehlich, das Essen unglaublich frisch, gesund und lecker, das Meer und der Strand sauber, die Berge einzigartig und die Sonne hoert nicht auf zu lachen. Ja, dass hoert sich schon alles ziemlich nach einem Nicholas Sparks Roman an ... aber ich schwoere auf jedes Eis dieser Welt, dieser Ort ist absolut magisch und das nicht nur weil der Regenbogen zum eingebrannten Himmelskunstwerk erstrahlt. 

Nach einer langer Suche ein neues Zuhause zu finden, habe ich durch Zufall den wohl perfekten Ort gefunden. 4 Minuten Gehweg von meiner Arbeit liegt das “Aloha Surf Hostel”. Hier geht jedem Designer das Herz auf. Traumhafte Farben und Inneneinrichtung, viel Liebe zum Detail, gemuetlich und sauber und super nette Leute aus der ganzen Welt machen diesen Ort zu etwas ganz besonderen. “Aloha & Surfing”, YES, das ist hier eine Lebenseinstellung und zieht dich sofort mit in den Bann. Jeden Tag werden freie Touren angeboten (Whaaat?), die sich zu den schoensten Spots in Maui fuehren. Wieder im Hostel angekommen wird zusammen gegrillt und den Abend gemuetlich im wunderschoenen Aussenbereich verbracht. Whirlpool & Palmen mit Lichterketten oder Billardtische machen den Abend perfekt. Am naechsten Morgen wirst du von Pancakes und Kaffee geweckt. How cool is that?

Arbeiten im Paradies. Geht das? Absolut, YES!  “Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen”. Ja, manchmal muss man auch mal Glueck haben :) Tolle Menschen, Arbeitsatmosphere und tolle Projekte. Und von der Arbeit aus Surfunttericht bekommen (Ja, ich stand jede Welle) und darueber einen Artikel schreiben? “ALOHA I’m in”! 

Ich lasse mich einfach von der berauschenden Welle treiben und freue mich ueber die Gelegenheit am anderen Ende der Welt im Surferhimmel zu leben.

A week in paradise. A new home, new job, environment, circadian rhythm and everything accompanied by sun, beach, sea & rainbows. The day has a pleasant warmth that is perfect with a small cool breeze from the windy north side & cozy nights shine in the brightest moonlight. In Paia  the houses are colorful, people cheerful, the food incredibly fresh, healthy and delicious, clean, unique, and the sun will not stop laughing. Yes, that sounds like a novel from Nicholas Sparks ... but I swear to each ice-cream in the world, this place is absolutely magical, and not just because of the rainbow shines for branded sky artwork.

After a long search to find a new home, I found by chance the most perfect place. 4 minutes sidewalk of my work is the "Aloha Surf Hostel". Here every designer will love it. Dreamlike colors and interior design, great attention to detail, cozy and clean, super nice people from around the world make this place something very special. "Aloha & Surfing" YES, this is a way of life and draws you immediately into the spell. Every day free tours (Whaaat?) to the most beautiful spots in Maui. Back at the hostel everyone grilled together and spent a cozy evening in the beautiful outdoors. Whirlpool & palm trees with fairy lights or pool tables make the evening perfect. The next morning you will wake up with the smell of pancakes and coffee. How cool is that?

Working in paradise. Is that possible? Absolutely, YES! "Once you make a decision,

the universe conspires to make it happen ". Great people, great working atmosphere and projects. "ALOHA I'm in!"

I let myself just drift of the intoxicating wave and I am glad to have the opportunity at the other end of the world to live in surfers heaven.
